Big Schloss Rock

Big Schloss rock sits right on the dividing line between Virginia and West Virginia. The view is exceptional looking in all directions.

Rocks From Below

We approached the rocks from the north on the Mill Mountain trail. You can also access the rocks from the Wolf Gap recreation area in the George Washington National Forest.

Looking North Towards Sugar Knob Cabin

When you stand on the rocks you can see in almost any direction by merely walking a few feet. The rocks shoot thirty or fourty feet up out of the trees, so there are very few obstructed views.
