Rhododendron Everywhere

The Rohrbaugh Plains Trail (TR 508) also goes to Unnamed View and eventually to the Wildlife Trail. It is covered by Rhododendron for at least the last mile toward the view. This is a longer, but still relatively easy trail. When we hiked this trail in April, very little foliage was out, as a matter of fact we ran into some snow. We heard, but did not see, several turkeys. At times, the trail could be pretty marshy and wet, but this is to be expected across Dolly Sods.
