Nice Pics! What wonderful plants we have in the east. The rose-like flower is that of the Purple Flowering Raspberry (Rubus odoratus L.)--they're in the rose family and can have delicious fruit. The lady slipper flower is that of the Moccosin Flower(Cypripedium acaule Ait.)--considered to be one of our most common (though still rare) large flowered orchids (and one of the best in this author's opinion). Then you have a goldenrod (Solidago sp.) and a thistle (In the Aster family, don't know which genus)--nicely colored composition! Then there are some sort of violet (Viola sp.)and finally Wild (Spotted) Gerainiums (Geranium maculatum L.). Good Spotting and thanks for sharing these wonderful pics!

Forgot to mention the Mayapple (Podophyllum peltatum). What a cool pic! The white flowers can be hard to see because the are held beneath the large umbrella leaves. This plant has a very tasty fruit in late summer, if you find it before the deer, squirrels, and groundhogs do. The yellow-green pulp, when ripe, tastes a bit like passionfruit, pawpaw, and pricklypear combined. However, the the other parts of this plant (including its seeds) are reputedly very poisonous. SO watchout! And spit out the seeds.
