Big Stonecoal Falls cascades down towards Red Creek at the Dolly Sods Wilderness in West Virginia. In 2004 I captured an image very much like this with my small digicam. I liked the foreground trees as a backstop for your vision keeping your eye on the falls and the Rhododendron thickets in the background. So, in the summer of 2006, I went back to remake the photograph with better equipment. This image always brightens my mood as I feel like I can hear the water rushing down the creek while I can smell the water vapor in the air. Add Your Comments (0)
