 Purchase this image at marcshaffer.net The spiderwebs made me think of Halloween, so I have waited since August to post it. This is a four-image, handheld panoramic that I really wish that I had stopped and made a higher resolution mosaic with the tripod. Sometimes it happens that way. This little scene unfolded to us early in the morning while dew was still heavy on the grasses and spiderwebs. We had departed from Bear Rocks around 7:30 am and headed into the backcountry. At this spot, we were standing on the boardwalk that is only a quarter of a mile from the parking lot. Photographically, the rest of the hike wasn't very impressive.
