The internet is littered with websites weighing the merits of this camera over that camera with precision focused ISO 12233 charts and diagrams of all sort to compare dynamic range, noise characterstics and any other manner of minutiae. One good site for this kind of stuff is DPreview. I read the site when I am shopping for a camera. At Trailpixie.net, I am more focused on the practice of photography. I focus on techinques and on reports from locations. Read on, but don't expect any Dynamic Range Charts.
